Job Purpose: Lead the development of shrimp farms and farmer groups to meet Aquaculture Improvement Project (AIP) requirements, progress toward and maintain recognized certification standards such as the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC ) and Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) and expand the supply of certified and responsibly sourced shrimp. Key Responsibilities Lead the AIP and / or equivalent scheme implementation strategy; prioritize farms for onboarding into the AIP program Provide technical support to shrimp farms and build their capability through business development and training Develop and manage farms toward ASC / BAP certification readiness and maintain existing certifications Support the procurement team to expand certified and responsibly sourced shrimp supply Monitor program KPIs and the certification pipeline Lead and coordinate with stakeholders (auditors, hatcheries, industry partners); build professional relationships with shrimp farmers, Certification Bodies (CBs) and authorities Support, supervise and manage team members to ensure frontline execution meets objectives Act as owner for managing NCRs (non-conformity request) from 2nd- and 3rd-party audits against schemes and projects within the given timeframe / deadline Escalate and report technical & compliance concerns to the Director, Responsible Aquaculture within 24 hours Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Aquaculture, Fisheries Science , Marine Science , Environmental Science, Animal Science, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in aquaculture, shrimp farming, farm operations, agricultural development , or a related field. At least 2 years of experience leading or supervising a team . Demonstrated ability to manage team performance, allocate resources, and deliver business objectives. Knowledge of shrimp-farming practices and aquaculture standards such as ASC, BAP, GAP, and related certification schemes is an advantage. Strong communication, stakeholder-management, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Able to communicate in English Willingness to travel frequently, work in field environments, and work onsite in Samut Sakhon every other Saturday.
