The Opportunity An exciting opportunity is available for an Insolvency Compliance Analyst to join a leading Advisory & Restructuring firm in Auckland. You’ll work alongside an experienced team supporting a range of restructuring and insolvency engagements, including receiverships, voluntary administrations and liquidations. The firm works across a broad range of industries and is known for delivering commercial and pragmatic solutions to complex business problems. This is a varied, hands-on role offering strong exposure to financial analysis, accounting, insolvency processes and stakeholder management. What You’ll Be Doing Using Excel to analyse financial data and prepare summary schedules Preparing bank reconciliations and identifying variances Reviewing creditor invoices and assisting with payment processing Preparing receipts and payments reports Managing creditor claims and assisting with creditor distributions Managing company payroll Preparing IRD returns and assisting with PAYE, GST and employee entitlement calculations Maintaining accounting records and general ledger accounts Assisting with debtor collections Responding to creditor and employee queries Drafting correspondence and statutory reports Supporting the team at client premises when required What We’re Looking For You’ll be motivated, commercially minded and eager to develop your career within a professional advisory environment. Ideally, you’ll bring: Prior experience in Transactional Accounting/Assistant Accountant Intermediate-Advanced Excel skills Strong written and verbal communication skills An eagerness to learn The ability to handle sensitive matters confidentially and tactfully A proactive, can-do attitude A commitment to ongoing professional development Experience with Xero, MYOB or SAP would be advantageous but is not essential Why Consider This Opportunity?
