Market Operations Specialist (Risk, Trading, Margin)

Responsibilities Collaborate closely with the US Market Operations team to manage critical trading and margin functions, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to industry regulations Support US overnight market operations escalation requests from Customer Service agents Execute and oversee daily tasks related to trading operations, including account level risk management and exception handling Monitoring overnight (U.S. hours) risk systems, ensuring adherence to U.S. Requirements Assist with overnight (U.S. hours) batch reporting Review and enforce credit limits overnight in collaboration with the Security and Risk teams, ensuring exposure remains within acceptable thresholds. Work with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams on automation, trade processing, and other projects to improve the efficiency and resilience of the trading platform and back-office systems. Qualifications Background in the financial industry, with experience directly in trading Proficiency in understanding options and futures strategies, facilitating informed decision-making and risk assessment Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, making sound decisions even during high-stress situations. Previous experience in futures trading, demonstrating familiarity with futures market dynamics Proficiency in the English language* Possess FINRA Series 3, 7 and 63 licenses; Licenses may be obtained within 180 days of start date* Strong technical skills, including the ability to leverage advanced tools and technology for insights and communication Flexibility to attend meetings during night hours when required
