Our client is a leading distributor of safety products and is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Accountant to support Accounts Payable operations across APAC entities. This role is responsible for invoice processing, travel and expense (T&E) claims, GR/IR reconciliation, vendor coordination, and month-end closing activities, while ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls. Key Responsibilities: Process vendor invoices and perform three-way matching (Purchase Order, Goods Receipt, and Invoice) to ensure accuracy and compliance. Review and process Travel & Expense (T&E) claims and employee reimbursement requests in accordance with company policies. Monitor and reconcile Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt (GR/IR) balances, investigating and resolving unmatched transactions. Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, Logistics, Finance, and vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment-related issues. Support Accounts Payable automation initiatives, ERP system enhancements, and continuous process improvement projects. Perform month-end closing activities, including Accounts Payable reconciliations and financial reporting. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably within a multinational company. Strong knowledge of Three-Way Matching (Purchase Order, Goods Receipt, and Invoice) and Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt (GR/IR) Accounting . Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms. Experience with Accounts Payable automation tools is an advantage. Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a good command of English, both written and spoken.
