Qualifications, Identification, Health and Background Checks Please note that you will be required to bring documentation to interview providing proof of your identity and qualifications. You many also be required, within the final appointment process, to undergo a health check and relevant background checks (e.g. Enhanced disclosure with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) in the UK and a local police certificate) as part of the school’s recruitment and safeguarding procedures. ************** Roles and Main Responsibilities The main responsibilities of the Human Resource Officer at Rugby School Thailand include: Process and coordinate visa, work permit, and teaching licence applications, including renewals, amendments, and cancellations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and deadlines. Coordinate and administer medical insurance claims for both academic and non-academic staff by liaising with employees and the insurance provider to ensure timely processing. Provide administrative support to the academic team as required, including preparing documentation and maintaining accurate records. Liaise with academic and administrative staff to support the effective implementation of School policies, procedures, and HR initiatives. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation in accordance with School policies and statutory requirements. Respond to staff enquiries regarding HR policies, employment matters, benefits, and administrative procedures. Support recruitment and onboarding activities, including preparing employment documentation and coordinating new staff induction. Assist with other HR and administrative duties as assigned by the Human Resources Manager. Other Responsibilities Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school. Uphold and promote all aspects of the Child Protection and Safeguarding policies. To act on aspects of student welfare and safeguarding raising any concerns by following School protocol/procedures. Person Specification Essential Thai nationality Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field. Good command of spoken and written English language skills are required. New graduates are welcome to apply (working in a school will be an advantage). Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Highly independent and able to work with minimal supervision. Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail. Desirable Previous experience of working with databases Knowledge of ISAMS and Microsoft packages such as PowerPoint and Publisher Typing (minimum 45 wpm) Strong working knowledge of Google Suite, IT literacy across a range of computer programmes. A sense of humour, adaptability, and a ‘can do, will do’ attitude.
