Senior Project Manager (Team head), Business School

The Senior Project Manager will oversee the daily operations and strategic development of the Business School in Hong Kong. This role is responsible for formulating annual work plans, driving business growth in executive education and public programmes, and building strong partnerships with universities, industry associations, and social organisations. The position is ideal for a proactive, well-connected professional who is passionate about education and talent development in Hong Kong. Responsibilities Centre operations and planning Lead and manage the overall operations of the Business School's Hong Kong centre. Formulate annual business and operational plans, set performance targets, and ensure effective execution. Monitor programme performance and operational efficiency, proposing improvements where necessary. Partnership development and external relations Establish and maintain close relationships with local Hong Kong universities, educational institutions, professional bodies, social organisations, and renowned overseas universities. Explore and develop academic and non-academic collaboration opportunities, including joint programmes, seminars, and research or training projects. Integrate and coordinate internal and external resources to support programme development and brand building. Executive education and public programmes Lead the promotion, marketing, and recruitment of participants for executive education programmes, public courses, and thematic lectures in Hong Kong. Work with academic and marketing teams to design, position, and optimise programmes to meet market needs. Oversee end-to-end programme management, including scheduling, budgeting, quality assurance, and participant experience. Business development and stakeholder management Identify new business opportunities in the education and training market, and drive revenue growth for the Hong Kong centre. Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, alumni, and key stakeholders. Represent the Business School at external events, forums, and networking activities to enhance brand visibility. Team collaboration and internal coordination Collaborate closely with mainland China teams to share best practices and jointly develop cross-regional initiatives. Provide guidance and coordination support to internal colleagues and project teams to ensure smooth execution of activities. Requirements Bachelor's degree or above. Excellent command of spoken and written Mandarin, Cantonese, and English. Familiar with the education and training industry in Hong Kong, including major stakeholders, market trends, and regulatory environment. Possess a solid network of social and professional resources, with proven experience in recruitment, promotion, or operation of executive education / training programmes. Strong business development mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, build partnerships, and close deals.
