Job Summary: Join us in building and shaping the HR function for our fast-growing Philippines business. This role will evolve from a hands-on HR Generalist position into a strategic HR Business Partner supporting business leaders across the organization. This position partners closely with the Country Head and regional HR leaders to drive talent acquisition, employee experience, people management, and HR operations. As only one HR team members in the Philippines, you play a key role in shaping people practices and supporting business growth in a fast-growing retail organization. HR Business Partnering: Partner closely with the Country Head and business leaders to provide practical HR solutions that support business objectives. Lead end-to-end recruitment activities in the Philippines, with a strong focus on retail hiring while supporting office recruitment as required. Act as a trusted HR partner and first point of contact for managers and employees on day-to-day HR matters. Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation, performance management, employee engagement, and offboarding. Provide guidance and coaching to managers on performance management, employee relations, disciplinary matters, and people management best practices. Support investigations, disciplinary processes, and employee relations cases in accordance with company policies and local labor regulations. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the Philippines and regional headquarters to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create a positive employee experience and support organizational initiatives. Support the Country Head and regional leaders in implementing HR initiatives, organizational projects, and people-related programs. HR Operations: Prepare employment contracts, HR letters, and other employee documentation while ensuring compliance with company policies and local labor regulations. Maintain accurate employee records and HR data in Workday, ensuring data integrity and timely updates throughout the employee lifecycle. Coordinate employee lifecycle administration, including onboarding, probation reviews, contract changes, transfers, promotions, and offboarding. Generate HR reports, maintain compliance documentation, and provide workforce data to support business and management decisions. Support day-to-day HR operations, including attendance and leave administration, employee inquiries, and coordination with internal stakeholders and external vendors. Coordinate with external vendors and government agencies on HR-related matters when required. Support office administration and other ad-hoc operational matters for the Philippines and global business as required. Key Requirements: Languages: Proficiency in English and Filipino is required; Mandarin is a strong advantage due to regular coordination with China-based teams Experience: 3–5 years in a similar HR generalist or HRBP role; prior experience in retail or fast-paced environments preferred Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline Experience with Workday or other HRIS systems is an advantage. Hands-on experience with recruitment processes, especially for sales, operations, or frontline teams Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams Highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable in a fast-changing environment Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
