Helpline Advisor – MoneyTalks (Fixed Term – 4 Months) We're looking for a qualified Financial Mentor to join our friendly MoneyTalks team on a 4-month fixed-term contract , providing cover for one of our team members. About MoneyTalks MoneyTalks is Aotearoa New Zealand's free financial helpline and is part of FinCap. Our team works remotely from across the motu, helping people access trusted financial information and connecting them with financial mentoring services and other support when they need it. We provide support by phone, text, email and webchat, with one goal in mind – helping people find the right support for their situation. About the role As a Helpline Advisor, you'll be the first point of contact for people reaching out to MoneyTalks. You'll use your financial mentoring knowledge, strong communication skills and sound judgement to understand people's needs and connect them with the right services. You'll be joining a supportive remote team that values collaboration, respect and making a positive difference for people across Aotearoa. What we're looking for To be successful in this role, you'll: Be a qualified Financial Mentor (this is an essential requirement). Be confident using technology and working across multiple systems. Have excellent communication and listening skills. Be able to build rapport with people from a wide range of backgrounds. Be organised, adaptable and able to work independently from home. What we offer Fixed-term position for 4 months . 100% remote role – laptop and headset provided. Monday to Friday, between 8.00am and 6.00pm . Flexible hours between 0.8 and 1.0 FTE .
