Weighbridge Operator Location: Onehunga, Auckland Job Summary Ward Group is looking for a reliable and organised Weighbridge Operator to join our team at our busy Onehunga yard. This is a varied role combining weighbridge operations with transport administration, customer service, and general office support. Accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are essential. About Ward Group Ward Group is one of New Zealand's leading demolition, recycling, and resource recovery companies. Our in-house transport fleet and recycling operations are a vital part of our business, and we're looking for a motivated individual to help keep our daily operations running smoothly. About the Role Based at our Onehunga office and yard, you will be the first point of contact for drivers and customers using our weighbridge. This role is responsible for accurately processing vehicle movements, maintaining transport and product records, preparing reports, processing invoices, and providing administrative support to the wider team. This is a busy position where organisation, attention to detail, and excellent customer service are key to success. Key Responsibilities Operate the weighbridge accurately and efficiently. Prepare daily weighbridge invoices. Process daily trucking transactions. Scan, file, and maintain tipping dockets and transport documentation. Prepare weekly and monthly product and tonnage reports. Raise purchase orders as required. Manage incoming emails and respond to customer enquiries. Maintain accurate records and data entry within company systems. Provide general administrative support to the transport and operations teams. Deliver professional customer service to drivers, customers, and suppliers. About You To be successful in this role you will have: Previous experience in a weighbridge, transport administration, logistics, or general administration role (preferred). Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Strong organisational and time management skills. Good computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel and the ability to learn new systems quickly. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure. A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic. What We Offer Competitive salary package.
