CFO - Samutsakhon, Manufacturing

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for leading the company's overall finance and accounting functions while serving as a strategic business partner to the executive leadership team. The role oversees financial planning and analysis, accounting, treasury, taxation, costing, budgeting, compliance, internal controls, and financial reporting to support sustainable business growth. The CFO will drive financial performance, optimize working capital, strengthen governance, and provide commercial insights to support operational excellence across the manufacturing business. Financial Leadership Develop and execute the company's financial strategy aligned with business objectives. Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO/President and executive management on financial and business decisions. Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term business planning. Monitor business performance and recommend initiatives to improve profitability and operational efficiency. Financial Reporting & Accounting Oversee all accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. Ensure compliance with Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS), statutory regulations, and company policies. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes. Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities. Manufacturing Finance & Costing Lead manufacturing finance, including product costing, inventory valuation, cost analysis, and variance analysis. Monitor production costs, raw material consumption, labor efficiency, and manufacturing overhead. Partner with operations to improve plant efficiency and cost optimization. Support capital expenditure planning and investment evaluations. Treasury & Cash Flow Management Manage cash flow, liquidity, banking relationships, and working capital. Optimize financing structures and monitor foreign exchange exposure where applicable. Ensure adequate funding for business operations and expansion. Tax & Compliance Oversee corporate tax planning, VAT, withholding tax, BOI (if applicable), and statutory compliance. Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements. Maintain strong internal controls and risk management frameworks. Business Partnering Provide financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, pricing, investments, mergers and acquisitions, and new business opportunities. Partner closely with commercial, operations, supply chain, procurement, and HR teams to improve business performance. Deliver meaningful financial insights and recommendations to senior management. Team Leadership Lead, develop, and mentor the Finance and Accounting team. Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and talent development. Build succession plans and strengthen organizational capabilities within the finance function. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, CPD, MBA, or other relevant professional qualifications are an advantage. Minimum 12–15 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, including leadership roles. Previous experience as CFO, Finance Director, Financial Controller, or Head of Finance within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls. Solid understanding of manufacturing finance, costing, inventory management, and supply chain finance. Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms. Strong analytical, commercial, and strategic thinking skills. Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication abilities. Fluent in Thai and business-level English.
