About the role We are seeking a Grower Success Lead - Strawberry to join CULTA MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. in a full-time capacity based in Cameron Highlands, Pahang. This role is pivotal to our account and relationship management strategy, serving as the primary point of contact and strategic partner for our strawberry growers. You will be instrumental in ensuring grower satisfaction, maximising productivity, and driving sustainable growth across our farming operations. This position bridges commercial success with operational excellence, making it essential to our company's objectives in the horticultural sector. About us CULTA Inc. is an agricultural technology startup in Japan. We have the world's fastest non-GMO horticulture breeding platform, currently focusing on developing climate-resilient crop varieties, such as heat-tolerant strawberries, to adapt to global climate change. We utilize a proprietary AI-driven breeding process to significantly accelerate the development of high-quality, delicious crops without relying on genome editing or genetic modification. Our business model does not rely on selling seeds or seedlings of newly developed varieties. Instead, we ・partner with growers around the world to cultivate our proprietary varieties, ・provide agronomic support to ensure quality, ・purchase 100% of the produce in principle, ・and distribute it into premium export and domestic channels. CULTA Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is one of the subsidiaries of CULTA Inc. and is working together with local strawberry farmers to outsource production in Cameron Highlands. In addition, CULTA Sdn. Bhd. Malaysia is liaising with our HQ to manage marketing, branding, and sales in Malaysia and Singapore. Key responsibilities To meet the high demand for sweet strawberries in Southeast Asia, CULTA is significantly expanding its production capacity for strawberries in both Japan and Malaysia. To expand our production in Malaysia and build a resilient, locally led organization for the long term, we are looking for a dedicated team member to develop our new farm bases and grow together with us. New development of contract farmers Identify, evaluate, and onboard potential growers to negotiate and secure stable, long-term cultivation contracts Establish strong partnerships with contract farmers, providing agronomic support to ensure optimal crop quality and yield. Management of existing contract farmers, including cultivation guidance Maintain/Enforce strong relationships with current contract farmers, providing agronomic guidance to ensure consistent quality and yield. Additional responsibilities Production management, including production volume forecasting Supply-chain management from post-harvest to delivery Cultivation task management for our own farms What we're looking for Professional Experience and Skills Experience in agricultural cultivation or a background in agricultural science Experience in coordinating and managing internal and external stakeholders Language skills Chinese (Mandarin) communication skills (for communication with contract farmers) English communication skills (for internal communication) Mobility Must possess a valid driving license (Class D) Preferred Experience and skill Ability to flexibly handle tasks in a fast-paced environment What we offer At CULTA Malaysia Sdn.
