Vineyard Irrigation Technician & Machinery Operator

Our Organisation Riverace Viticulture is the largest vineyard management and contract services business in Western Australia. We manage in excess of 20 vineyard estates across all the sub-regions of Margaret River, as well as providing specialised services and harvesting to a further 100 properties. Our team operates a range of machinery, harvesters, tractors and equipment supported by our own mechanics and dedicated workshop. The Role Water management is essential to the success of our vineyard estates and annual grape production. We have a full-time position available for an Irrigation Technician with exceptional skills. Viticultural experience is preferred although not essential, but previous experience with irrigation systems is required. The role will also require off-season machinery operations which will include Grape Harvesting machinery. Proven experience with irrigation systems Good communication & problem-solving capabilities Ability to work closely with our experienced management team Hands on approach to all areas of vineyard irrigation systems, including system and pump maintenance, programming watering schedules, in field fertigation, field repairs and new installations Adaptable, being able to complete a mix of office and field work as required Machinery operation in off season (training provided) Requirements Experience with irrigation systems Manual driver’s license Physically fit Next Steps If you have the qualities and skills we are looking for, please send through your resume to office@riverace.com.au or.
