Overview Sharp and Carter are excited to be exclusively partnered with Kobelco as they seek a motivated Marketing Coordinator to join their marketing team at the Eastern Creek (Sydney) office. Today, Kobelco Construction Machinery Australia is a wholly owned subsidiary responsible for distributing Kobelco excavators across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands through a strong independent dealer network. With Kobelco becoming the #1 selling brand of heavy excavators in Australia since 2023, this is a rare opportunity to join a growing brand with real momentum in the market. Responsibilities Manage the company’s social media platforms, creating and scheduling regular content and working with external agencies where required. Monitor and respond to digital enquiries, converting where appropriate to leads for the sales team. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to coordinate website updates and maintain content accuracy. Work with external agencies to develop and manage content across social media, the company website, and other marketing channels. Review and maintain corporate marketing collateral, updating materials as required. Monitor deadlines for industry publication submissions and advertising commitments. Provide marketing support to the national dealer network, including co-op materials and campaign assets. Assist in the creation and distribution of electronic direct mail (EDM) campaigns. Support the planning and coordination of internal and external events, including conferences and trade shows. Analyse market trends and competitor activity to support the development of effective marketing campaigns and promotions. Maintain marketing records and assist with general administrative duties as required. Assist the Marketing Manager and GM of Marketing with administrative tasks and perform ad hoc duties as required. Experience 2+ years’ experience in a similar Marketing role - ideally within a B2B environment Degree in Marketing, Communications or Business, with strong academic results. Experience managing social media platforms in a professional environment. A high level of English writing skills, with the ability to produce content suitable for public-facing channels without extensive editing. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High attention to detail across all work outputs. Proven ability to manage competing deadlines and prioritise workload with minimal supervision. Experience with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, EDM platforms (e.g. Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor), or CMS platforms is advantageous. Zoho and WordPress experience highly regarded. Competence with Microsoft Office suite of business apps. Current driver’s licence (desirable, as the role may involve attending dealer visits, field events, or trade shows).
