Are you ready to work on one of Australia's largest Android enterprise environments? We're partnering with one of Australia's best-known enterprises to find two experienced Mobility Engineers to help shape the future of their Android mobile platforms. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves automation, developer tooling and building reliable, scalable mobile delivery platforms, and we are open to someone looking for contract or for permanent work. If you're passionate about modern engineering practices, CI/CD, enterprise mobility and improving developer experience, this is the role for you. As a Mobility Engineer, you will own and enhance the platforms that support Android mobile applications across a large enterprise environment. Working closely with mobile developers, operations and security teams, you'll ensure the mobile delivery pipeline is automated, secure and highly available. This is a platform engineering role focused on improving how Android applications are built, tested, deployed and managed at scale. What You'll Be Doing Designing and improving Android application delivery platforms. Building and maintaining Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines. Automating build, testing, code signing and deployment processes. Supporting enterprise mobile device management platforms, including Omnissa. Partnering with development teams to improve developer experience and delivery efficiency. Driving DevSecOps best practices throughout the deployment lifecycle. Monitoring platform performance using Splunk and identifying opportunities for improvement. Managing technical backlogs and platform enhancements using Jira. Working with security, operations and development teams to balance reliability, compliance and delivery speed. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong infrastructure and platform engineering mindset with experience supporting enterprise Android environments, in addition to: Experience in Mobile Device Engineering or Enterprise Mobility. Strong knowledge of the Android ecosystem. Experience with enterprise mobile device management platforms (Omnissa highly regarded). Hands-on experience building Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines. Experience automating application delivery and deployment. In addition to this, strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work across development, infrastructure and operations teams is essential!
