Join Our Team as a Casual Youth Residential Worker! Are you passionate about supporting and empowering young people? Do you have a nurturing and patient attitude? Position: Casual Youth Residential Worker Location: Dubbo Employment Type: Casual About Us: We are a Youth Support agency providing residential care services for youth, dedicated to fostering a safe, supportive, and positive environment for young people. Our mission is to help youth achieve their full potential through compassionate care and guidance. Role and Responsibilities: As a Casual Youth Residential Worker, you will have a pivotal role in supporting young residents with their daily activities and personal development. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting youth with daily living tasks, including personal care and hygiene. Providing emotional support and building positive relationships with residents. Facilitating recreational and educational activities to promote growth and development. Supporting the youth in developing life skills and achieving personal goals. Ensuring a safe and nurturing living environment. Maintaining accurate records and documentation of residents' progress and well-being. Engaging with Young People using trauma informed responses Requirements: A Diploma in Community Services required. A caring, patient, and empathetic attitude. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including Sleepovers, weekends, and holidays. Previous experience/qualification working with youth and a desire to nurture youth to the best of your ability A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
