Fergbaker Arrowtown is looking for a Front of House 2IC to join the team, lead from the front and support the Front of House Manager. You will be joining the team pre-opening to set the standard and expecation for the front of house team. Responsibilities: Responsible for meeting and exceeding the operational objectives for Fergbaker Arrowtown Training team members in customer service and food handling standards Cash handling, customer service and managing staffing levels and supervising staff Taking and arranging pre orders Assist in rostering FOH team in line with business needs and budgets Staff training on all sales procedures, systems and Food Control Plan Stock control, including determining product mix and stock levels Partake and lead in a culture focused on continual improvement of customer service standards and operational systems Food hygiene standards and processes Work alongside HR in the recruitment process and development of FOH team members Requirements: Minimum 3 years relevant experience Must have reliable transport to get to shifts starting from 5am Food handling qualification Experience training or teaching juniors FCP understanding Applicants must have NZ work rights Proven barista experience Full time position, minimum 30 hours per week Benefits: Training and development Discounted Food Tabs Food provided in the staff area Service recognition Rewards & Gifts Staff parties Birthday Burger
