About the role You'll be responsible for the installation, repair, and replacement of a wide range of flooring products, primarily carpet and vinyl, across residential and commercial projects. Key responsibilities Install broadloom carpet and carpet tiles. Install sheet vinyl and vinyl plank flooring. Prepare and level subfloors. Remove and dispose of existing flooring where required. Install trims, edging, and finishing details. Carry out minor subfloor repairs where necessary. Measure and plan flooring layouts. Maintain a clean and safe worksite. Deliver high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. About you Previous experience installing carpet and vinyl flooring. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High attention to detail and pride in your workmanship. Strong problem-solving skills. Reliable, punctual, and professional. Full New Zealand driver's license. NZ residency, valid work visa, or legal entitlement to work in New Zealand.
