Loan processor (Credit Analyst)

We are an Australian based mortgage brokerage firm, we work with over 40 Australian lenders. At Sweetie Lending, we're committed to helping clients make well-informed financial decisions, whether they’re seeking residential or investment finance, or refinancing an existing mortgage. We offer comprehensive, tailored financial advice that aligns with their budget and current situation, simplifying the often complex process of securing finance for their next property. Due to the growing demands of our business, we are looking to hire a full-time mortgage loan processor/credit analyst. Working hours are 10 am to 6 pm Sydney time. Responsibilities Actively monitor loan applications to ensure they progress smoothly through the system. Process loan applications using Salestrekker CRM and Apply Online. Submit pricing requests and order valuations as necessary. Research lending policies, perform servicing calculations, and structure loans. Workshop deals with BDM. Proficient in using Quickli and lender servicing calculators. Collaborate with banks/BDMs to discuss and refine scenarios. Evaluate PAYG and self-employed income documents (e.g., payslips, tax returns, profit & loss statements). Review and interpret credit reports. Follow up with lenders and third parties, providing updates to brokers. Manage all other administrative duties related to mortgage processing as required by the broker. Qualifications welcome new graduates Finance/Commerce/Accounting degree or similar. Keen attention to detail to deliver consistent, high quality and accurate work. Able to work in fast pace and stand for high work volume. Able to work over time when required. Willing to learn new things. Can communicate confidently. Strong communication skills (verbal and written) are required. You will be required to deal with banks and other third party via email and phone daily.
