About the Role We are seeking an experienced and proactive bilingual Site Manager , fluent in both English and Mandarin, to lead the day-to-day operations of our residential building projects. Working closely with the Project Manager and Project Coordinator, you will oversee site activities, coordinate trades and subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, hands-on, and confident leading teams while maintaining clear communication between the site and office. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of construction sites to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure smooth site operations Work closely with the Project Manager and Project Coordinator to support project delivery Monitor construction quality and ensure compliance with New Zealand building regulations and company standards Maintain site records, monitor project progress, and provide regular updates Coordinate the delivery and efficient use of materials, tools, and equipment Promote and maintain a safe working environment in accordance with Health & Safety requirements Carry out any other duties as reasonably assigned by the company About You Fluent in both English and Mandarin (spoken & written) — essential Proven experience managing residential construction sites in New Zealand Sound understanding of New Zealand construction processes, building regulations, and industry standards Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple trades and priorities effectively Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams Proactive, reliable, and able to solve problems in a fast-paced environment Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using digital systems for reporting and site coordination Why Join Us?
