About us Ramma Construction is a small but dynamic construction and cabinetry business currently undergoing an exciting period of growth. Our experienced team of builders and cabinet makers bring a creative edge to our customers projects. Ramma has been operating in the bay for over a decade and boasts a unique portfolio spanning right across the spectrum; from maintenance and repair work to involvement in projects such as Hobbiton, Redwoods Treewalk, Museums, and various hospitality venues across the Bay of Plenty. We take pride in our work and are on the hunt for a Builder with a genuine care and passion for their trade, who will stitch themselves into our team and fully embrace the challenge. About the role Leading Hand/Senior Builder This is an on-the-tools role. You will be responsible for a small crew on-site, taking ownership of your projects from start to finish, making sure jobs are completed efficiently, safely, and to our company workmanship standards. Key responsibilities: Day to day running of your project Leading and supporting your crew Coordinating subcontractors and liaising with local councils Reading and interpreting plans Maintaining high-quality workmanship standards Communicating professionally with clients Keep your site tidy, organised, and well presented Assist with cabinetry assembly and installation when required Maintain Health and Safety requirements onsite What we're looking for: NZ Qualified Builder Good knowledge of NZ standards (3604/E2) 5 years plus in the industry, with experience in a leading hand role Confident leader with a positive, solution focused attitude Organised and reliable, quality driven tradesman with genuine care and pride in your work Good grasp of technology and job management software Must have your own tools Full NZ Drivers Licence NZ Residency, Citizenship, or a valid NZ work visa Bonus – experience with cabinetry or fit-out work What we offer: Full time 7:00am - 4.30pm, Monday to Friday Company vehicle and use of specialist company tools Great work/life balance in the sunny Bay of Plenty Opportunity for growth alongside an ambitious company On-going commitment to staff training and development Work alongside experienced tradesmen, who value quality workmanship and care.
