About the Role We are seeking a well-connected and results-driven Assistant Sales Manager with a strong presence in the air freight ecosystem to drive new key account acquisition. This role is focused on hunting and securing high-value accounts, leveraging existing industry relationships and market knowledge to grow our air freight business. Familiarity with the Electrical & Electronics (E&E) industry is an added advantage. Key Responsibilities Identify, target, and secure new key accounts within the air freight industry, with a strong focus on business development and revenue growth. Develop and execute account acquisition strategies to win high-value, long-term customers. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at prospective and existing client organizations. Prepare and present tailored proposals, rate negotiations, and service solutions to prospective key accounts. Monitor air freight market trends, capacity, rates, and competitor activity to identify opportunities. Work closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery for new accounts. Track and report on business development pipeline, wins, and revenue contribution from key accounts. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent industry experience). Proven track record and strong network within the air freight / freight forwarding ecosystem . Demonstrated success in key account acquisition and business development within logistics or freight. Familiarity with the Electrical & Electronics (E&E) industry is an added advantage. Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and closing skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working independently to hunt new business.
