We are seeking for Senior and Junior Data Engineers for our Malaysia Tech Center, work on end-to-end solutions for cross-border payments for our global merchants and globalization business. Job Description - Design and implement data models that support business requirements and data analytics. - Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity. - Build and manage real-time data warehousing solutions to support business intelligence and reporting needs. - Collaborate with tech team and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide data solutions. - Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and standards. - Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and systems to ensure high availability and performance. - Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in data engineering and data warehousing. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or any related field. - Demonstrated expertise in data engineering, software development, data science, or other AI-focused roles. - Proficient in creating and maintaining end-to-end ETL pipelines while maintaining high reliability and security. - Familiar with at least one distributed computing engine (e.g. Hive, Spark, Flink). - Familiar with data warehouse concept and have production experience in modeling design. - Proficiency in both written and verbal English communication. - Experience in the design of big data architecture (e.g. data governance, data compliance) is a plus.

If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
