Responsibilities Responsible for implementation of configuration infrastructure for Windows Server System (AD, DNS, DHCP, CLUSTERING), MS EXCHANGE which including server security, networking, backup and virus scan activities configuration with strong skill of TCP/IP protocol, Web Services (IIS), DNS&DHCP, MS EXCHANGE, Firewall and Network protocols. To administer and support Remote Access system, perimeter defences such as Firewall, VPN server, Proxy and etc. Support the installation and configuration of network devices such as switches, routers, Firewalls and Wireless Access Points. Familiar with RARP, EIGRP/RIP/BGP, Ethernet/Fast/Gigabit Ethernet, FDDI, ATM Switching/VLANs, Firewall and Network protocols. Responsible for requirement study, designing, deploying, implementing, support and managing any ICT related projects, adhering to project management processes and procedures. To provide service delivery activities in accordance to established Service Level Agreement (SLA) to maintain high-level of customer service. Perform onsite service at clients' locations as and when required. To undertake any ad-hoc assignments as and when required. Requirements Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Computer / Telecommunication) or equivalent. Preferably Senior Executives with 3-5 years experiences in IT / Computer Network / System / Database Admin or equivalent. Certification / Training: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Microsoft Certified Solution Expert (MCSE) will be added advantages. Superb technical skills and robust consistent approach to technical design. Strong leadership and must be a team player. Able to work extra hours, independently, full responsibility and with minimum supervision. Able to travel outstation or on-site at clients' location. Applicants must be willing to work in Ipoh, Perak. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
