Responsibilities 1. Coordinate with overseas, customers, customs brokers, and internal & external departments to ensure smooth import operations. 2. Monitor and follow up shipments from origin to final destination in compliance with Incoterms and customer requirements. 3. Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of shipping documents prior to shipment release. 4. Ensure import licenses, HS Codes, FTA privileges, BOI requirements, duty & tax payments, and other regulatory requirements are properly arranged before shipment arrival, in accordance with customer SOPs. 5. Provide proactive shipment updates and maintain strong customer relationships communication. 6. Handle customer inquiries professionally and provide timely, accurate information and solutions. 7. Investigate, resolve, and escalate customer complaints, incidents. 8. Coordinate customs clearance activities with customers, customs brokers, and relevant authorities. 9. Manage import customs clearance processes and ensure compliance with customs regulations and company policies. 10. Coordinate with subcontractors and service providers for domestic transportation, warehousing, packing, and other logistics services. 11. Prepare, analyze, and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for both internal management and customer. 12. Monitor operational KPIs and identify areas for process improvement service quality and efficiency. 13. Provide guidance, coaching, and operational support to team members. 14. Handle complex shipments, including BOI cargo, project cargo, oversized cargo, return shipments, re-export shipments, and damaged cargo cases. 15. Participate in SOP development, process improvement and operational audits to ensure compliance and continuous improvement. Qualifications · Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Business, Supply Chain Management, or related fields. · Minimum 5 years of experience in import operations, freight forwarding, customs clearance, or logistics management. · Strong knowledge of shipping, freight forwarding, and import customs clearance procedures. · Experience with import licenses and regulatory requirements, including TISI, DIW, FDA, NBTC, DIT, and other related authorities. · Strong knowledge of HS Code classification, BOI privileges, FTA forms, customs duty & tax regulations. · Experience handling raw materials, machinery, spare parts, project cargo, oversized shipments, and damaged cargo. · Knowledge of post-review, customs audit, return shipments, and re-export shipment handling. · Experience using SAP and other logistics or freight forwarding systems. · Ability to lead and coordinate team operations achieving customer and company performance targets. · Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. · Excellent customer service, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. · Good command of English, both written and spoken. · Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels. · Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. · Flexible and willing to work beyond normal business hours when required. · Positive attitude, high integrity, accountability, and commitment to continuous improvement.
