About the role This is a contract role for an Intern - Halal & Risk Management position at McDonald's Malaysia, located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. In this role, you will be supporting the company's compliance and risk management efforts, with a focus on halal requirements and standards. What you'll be doing Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the company's halal compliance program Monitor and report on the organization's adherence to halal standards and regulations Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for potential halal-related risks Support the development and rollout of halal-related training and awareness programs for employees Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of halal considerations into business operations Prepare reports and presentations on halal compliance and risk management activities Stay updated on the latest halal regulations and industry best practices What we're looking for Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as business, management, or Islamic studies Strong understanding of halal requirements and standards in the food and beverage industry Proficient in risk management principles and methodologies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement What we offer At McDonald's Malaysia, we are committed to providing our employees with a rewarding and fulfilling work experience.
