If you are looking for an opportunity to further develop your quality management skills, coordinate QC activities and contribute to stronger quality assurance procedures, we would be interested to meet you. We are looking for an Assistant Manager, Quality to support the day-to-day management of our QC Inspectors and assist in maintaining practical quality processes that help us deliver consistent quality to our international customers. Ideally, you will have hands-on experience in quality assurance and quality control within China, Cambodia, Mexico or other manufacturing locations, with a solid understanding of inspection planning, report review, supplier corrective actions and continuous improvement. You should be comfortable working with product specifications, inspection checklists and AQL standards, and able to work closely with Product Development, Procurement, Customer Service, suppliers and inspectors to support effective quality control across projects. ESSENTIAL JOB DESCRIPTION: Support day-to-day quality assurance activities and coordinate with QC inspection teams in China and other global locations. Assist with inspection scheduling by coordinating inspectors, factory locations, shipment timings, urgencies and special circumstances. Prepare and maintain quality reports, supporting risk mitigation and continuous improvement activities with suppliers. Assist with analysis of monthly and 6-month quality reports, highlighting trends, risks and recommended improvement actions. Communicate regularly with inspectors to review inspection reports, follow-up actions, remedial plans and reinspection requirements. Support the preparation of management reports summarizing quality findings, supplier performance and improvement activities. Coordinate 3rd party inspections when required and follow up on related reports and corrective actions. Review quality requirements for each project with Product Development, Procurement and Customer Service to help define key inspection points and support the preparation of quality control templates. Apply tolerance management and product specification requirements when preparing or reviewing inspection plans. Follow up on quality improvements, corrective actions and practical product improvement opportunities. Support production facility audits and follow up on compliance with relevant customers, product and international quality standards. Support the investigation and resolution of customer complaints relating to product performance, specifications or reliability. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Degree holder, preferably in Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related disciplines. Minimum 7 years of relevant quality assurance or quality control experience, preferably with exposure to bags, gifts, accessories and/or cosmetics. Experience in product development or supplier quality follow-up is an advantage. Good ability to analyze quality issues, identify likely root causes and support practical improvement plans. Excellent time management, planning, organization, and prioritization skills. Strong sense of responsibility, accountability and follow-through, with a flexible approach, ability to adapt to change and willingness to support business needs. Fluent command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin is a MUST. Excellent command of Microsoft Word and Excel. A good team player, proactive attitude, mature, outgoing, and self-motivated Willingness to travel regionally and internationally when required.
