Localization Specialist (based in South Korea)

Company Details NAVER WEBTOON is a global webtoon platform company. This team drives innovation in the Global WEBTOON localization process — designing optimal processes so content created in one language can be introduced naturally to readers worldwide, and validating/introducing new localization methodologies. Job Description This is a work on site. This role focuses on maintaining and improving Thai content quality through linguistic QA, style guide creation, and glossary management. Establish and improve Thai localization quality standards (style guide, glossary management, etc.) Review and improve the linguistic quality of translated content Improve localization operation efficiency through collaboration with related departments Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Arts/ Literature or a related field At least 1 year of professional experience in the field: Localization & Linguistic Quality Assurance (LQA): Experience in translation, editing, proofreading, creating style guides, and managing glossaries/terminology databases in Thai. Ability to accurately comprehend English source text and judge equivalence (meaning, nuance, context) with the translated output; strong attention to detail and patience for repetitive quality-verification work; structured documentation and clear communication skills Languages Thai: Native (required) English: Intermediate (required) Korean: Intermediate (required) Working Conditions Location: work at office in South Korea Working Days: 5 days per week (Monday – Friday) Working Hours: 8 hours per day Additional Benefits Insurance including National Pension, Health Insurance, Employment Insurance, Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance Support visa sponsorship.
