This role offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of mobile core network engineering, SIM/eSIM service platforms, VAS evolution, automation, and AI-enabled network operations. The successful candidate will support the design, enhancement, and transformation of telecom platforms while contributing to data-driven and intelligent operation initiatives. Responsibilities Design, plan, and enhance SIM, eSIM, OTA platform solutions and related mobile service platforms. Support the evolution of mobile voice, SMS, and Valued Added Service solutions, including technology roadmap, capacity planning, and service enhancement. Participate in telecom platform transformation initiatives involving 4G/5G core services, digital service enablement, automation, and AI-assisted operations. Coordinate with vendors, internal engineering teams, IT, security, and business units on solution design, implementation, testing, and service delivery. Requirements Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related discipline. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in telecommunications network engineering, SIM/eSIM/OTA platforms, SMS/VAS, mobile voice services, service platforms, or related technical domains. Interest in AI-assisted tools, automation, data analysis, and smarter network operations is highly welcome. Good analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; Mandarin would be an advantage. Candidates with less experience may be considered for the position of Engineer. Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
