Job Summary: Specialist - Employee Relations Management is responsible for fostering a positive work environment by managing employee relations matters, handling conflict resolution, and ensuring compliance with bank policies and labor laws. This role serves as a trusted advisor to both employees and management, workplace concerns with fairness, professionalism, and discretion. Key Responsibilities: Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, concerns, and conflicts. Investigate complaints, disputes, and grievances in a timely, fair, and thorough manner. Provide recommendations for resolution based on bank policies, labor laws, and best practices. Partner with people managers to implement corrective actions when necessary. 2. Policy Compliance & Interpretation: Interpret and communicate HR policies, procedures, and guidelines to employees and managers. Ensure bank compliance with labor laws, regulations, and internal policies. Identify trends in employee concerns and provide recommendations for policy updates or training. 3. Conflict Resolution: Mediate conflicts between employees and/or people managers to facilitate resolution and maintain a positive workplace culture. Proactively address potential conflicts to mitigate risks. 4. Performance Management: Collaborate with people managers to address performance concerns and create performance improvement plans. Support employees and people managers through the disciplinary process as needed. 5. Training and Development: Assist in developing and facilitating training programs on topics like labor laws, disciplinary and code of conduct. Educate management on best practices for employee engagement and issue resolution. 6. Documentation & Reporting: Prepare related documents, such as summaries of investigation results, penalty letters, and meeting reports. Prepare documents for labor litigation and coordinate with government agencies Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Lawyer, Business Administration or related field. 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on employee relations. Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations. Excellent conflict resolution, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage sensitive matters with confidentiality, empathy, and professionalism. Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and case management tools. Experience conducting workplace investigations. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
