For further information on Yip Shing Diesel Engineering Company Limited, please visit our website: https://www.ysdiesel.com.hk/ Responsibilities: Oversee end-to-end production and assembly operations of diesel generators, including engines, alternators, control panels, enclosures, and associated power systems, ensuring products meet schedule, budget, and quality standards Guarantee on-time delivery by closely monitoring production timelines, coordinating material availability, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing timely corrective actions Collaborate closely with project teams, engineering, sales, quality, and supply chain functions to align production with project specifications, customer requirements, and delivery commitments Streamline production processes and assembly lines to improve efficiency, reduce waste, optimize resource utilization, and enhance overall throughput of diesel generator units Lead, motivate, and develop the production team; promote a strong work culture focused on safety, accountability, continuous improvement, and high staff morale Implement and maintain robust quality management systems across products and the production line, ensuring compliance with internal standards, ISO requirements, and relevant industry regulations (including emissions, electrical safety, and performance standards for diesel generators) Oversee testing, inspection, and final quality checks of completed generator sets to ensure reliability and performance before shipment Monitor KPIs, prepare production reports, and drive continuous improvement initiatives specific to generator manufacturing Ensure a safe working environment and full compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements in a manufacturing setting involving heavy equipment and diesel systems Requirements: Diploma/degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field preferred Over 5 years of proven experience as a Production Manager or in a similar production leadership role, or related manufacturing environments Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems Experience with lean manufacturing principles, process optimization, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive workplace culture Ability to work cross-functionally with project, engineering, and support teams Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is highly advantageous Benefits: A 6-day work week with an alternate Saturday off Working hours: 9am to 6pm (Monday to Saturday) Year-end double pay Medial (outpatient & hospitalization) Dental Care Monthly Team Lunch & other Recreational Activities MPF Free Shuttle Bus Apply: We offer competitive salary and attractive benefits to the right candidates.
