Finance Director – Group Strategy & Transformation

About the Opportunity Our client is a well-established, privately-owned Thai investment group with a diversified portfolio spanning commercial real estate and hospitality assets. Following a recent ERP transformation on Microsoft Dynamics, the business is entering its next phase of growth and has created a newly defined Finance Director role to lead it. This is a rare opportunity to build and shape a finance function at group level, working directly with the Deputy CEO and senior leadership. What You'll Do Act as principal financial advisor to the Deputy CEO, CEO and Board, bringing independent, commercially grounded challenge to strategic decisions Lead group-wide budgeting, forecasting and performance management, integrating financial and operational KPIs into one reporting framework Own group cash flow, treasury, funding and banking relationships, and advise on financing structures for future growth Ensure the integrity of group financial reporting, statutory compliance and a strong internal control environment across all business lines Provide financial oversight of the group's hotel and resort portfolio, safeguarding asset value and owner returns Lead a 2–3 year finance transformation roadmap, building on the group's recent ERP implementation to modernize processes, reporting and controls Establish procurement governance and drive value through strategic sourcing and supplier management Build, lead and develop a multi-disciplinary team spanning finance, accounting and procurement Partner with business leaders across the group to influence major decisions, investments and new initiatives What We're Looking For 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role A background in real estate, property development, property management or hospitality is highly preferred Proven experience leading finance transformation, process improvement or ERP/system implementation Strong FP&A, treasury, financial reporting and internal controls experience across multiple business units CPA, CPD or equivalent professional accounting qualification preferred Professional fluency in both Thai and English, with the confidence to communicate and influence at Board level A proactive, energetic operator who thinks systematically, builds conviction with stakeholders, and can push back constructively What's on Offer A newly created, high-visibility group-level role with direct Board and CEO exposure Ownership of a multi-year finance transformation agenda Performance-based annual bonus, group insurance and provident fund Flexible working arrangement, based at the group's Bangkok head office Occasional domestic travel to group properties outside Bangkok (fully covered) How to Apply Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a confidential screening call before their profile is presented to the client.
