Accounts Receivable Officer

MARS Recruitment is partnering with a respected organisation to recruit an Accounts Receivable Officer. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll be responsible for managing the receivables' function while supporting the wider finance team across a range of transactional accounting duties. The Role Your responsibilities will include: End-to-end accounts receivable, invoicing and debtor management Allocating customer payments and performing account reconciliations Chasing outstanding debt and resolving customer account queries Raising and managing purchase orders Supporting accounts payable during busy periods Assisting with month-end reconciliations and reporting Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation Providing finance support to internal and external stakeholders Assisting the Finance Manager with ad hoc finance administration About You To be successful, you'll bring: Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable or Accounts Officer position Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability A proactive approach with the ability to manage competing priorities Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with customers and stakeholders Experience using accounting software, with Xero highly regarded Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills Full Australian working rights What's on Offer?
