Head of IT Governance

Key Accountabilities: Develop, maintain, and manage IT policies, procedures, standards, and governance practices in line with regulatory, regional and company requirements. Manage end-to-end IT process inventory, including SDLC process mapping, and drive process improvement where applicable. Ensure effective implementation, monitoring, and awareness of IT policies, procedures, and governance requirements across relevant teams. Provide expert advice and support to IT management on IT governance, risk, control, audit, and compliance matters. Act as the key contact point for IT-related audits, including evidence coordination, clarification, and follow-up / oversight on the IT related audit action plan Lead and manage the IT department risk register, risk mitigation activities, and control assessments with domain owners. Lead and implement enterprise AI-ready data governance strategy and execution, including data quality management Qualifications: University degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related fields. 12+ years of experience in IT governance, IT risk, IT audit, or technology process management, preferably in the financial services industry. Strong knowledge of IT policies, SDLC governance, IT controls, regulatory requirements, and security standards. Experience in managing IT audit coordination, risk register, control assessment, and remediation tracking. Knowledge of data governance, including data ownership, data quality, data classification, and data stewardship, is a plus.
