DCIM Engineer (BMS) | Data Center | Singapore MNC Role Overview We are looking for a DCIM Engineer to support the integration of facility systems, IT infrastructure, and data analytics within a data centre environment. The role focuses on DCIM/BMS, system integration, backend infrastructure, databases , and operational dashboards. Key Responsibilities DCIM / BMS & Integration Configure, maintain, and optimize DCIM, BMS, EPMS, and monitoring systems . Manage backend systems supporting BMS/DCIM, including updates, backups, and security patches. Integrate BMS, EPMS, CMMS , and other facility systems for centralized monitoring. Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, and system integration testing . Maintain system interfaces including API, SNMP, MODBUS, and BACnet . Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and change records. Data & Analytics Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for capacity, energy, incidents, asset performance, and SLA monitoring. Manage databases for facility, equipment, alarm, and operational data. Perform data analysis using Power BI, SQL, Python , or similar tools. Analyze system performance data to support optimization, predictive maintenance, and fault reduction. Support RCA for system and equipment incidents. IT / Infrastructure Support servers hosting DCIM, BMS, CMMS , and related applications. Perform basic server administration, backups, updates, and security patching. Manage databases and ensure data availability and integrity. Support IT/OT integration and backend architecture activities. Requirements Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Control Systems, Computer Science, or related field. 3–5 years of experience in data centres, mission-critical facilities, or similar environments. Hands-on experience with BMS, EPMS, DCIM, or SCADA . Proficient in Power BI or similar dashboarding tools. Working knowledge of Windows/Linux, MySQL/PostgreSQL, and VMware/Hyper-V . Understanding of data centre electrical, mechanical, fire protection, and control systems . Experience integrating IT and OT/facility systems. Familiarity with CMMS/ERP platforms. Knowledge of API, SNMP, MODBUS, BACnet, SQL, or Python is an advantage. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.

Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
