Position Objective This position is responsible for transforming data from across DPU into accurate, consistent, and actionable insights that support university-wide decision-making. This role will build and maintain a centralized, trusted source of data , integrating information across marketing, web, admissions, academic, and operational systems. The Data Analyst will develop executive dashboards and reporting solutions, establish consistent data definitions and quality standards, and work closely with business and IT stakeholders to ensure that decision-makers have access to reliable, timely, and meaningful information . Ultimately, this role will help strengthen DPU's data-driven culture by turning complex data into clear insights that enable better and faster decisions. Key Responsibilities Reporting & Dashboards Build, automate, and maintain executive reports and dashboards end-to-end using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker . Standardize recurring reports, KPIs, and metric definitions to ensure leadership receives timely, consistent, and trustworthy information. Improve reporting efficiency by reducing manual reporting and enabling greater self-service access to data. Centralized Data & Single Source of Truth Consolidate data across DPU's systems and faculties, including marketing, web, admissions, academic, and operational data , into a centralized data hub. Reconcile conflicting figures across multiple sources and establish a single, trusted source of truth . Maintain clear definitions and ownership of key institutional data and metrics. Data Architecture & Integration Design and maintain logical data structures and models, including schemas, relationships, naming conventions, and data connections across the university. Partner with IT and system owners to develop reliable data pipelines and integrations that feed the centralized data hub. Support the development and continuous improvement of DPU's data architecture. Data Quality & Governance Clean, standardize, validate, and reconcile source data, identifying and correcting errors, duplicates, gaps, and inconsistencies. Define and implement data quality rules and validation checks to ensure data remains accurate, complete, consistent, and reliable . Document data sources, definitions, transformation logic, and reporting methodology to ensure transparency and repeatability. Stakeholder Partnership & Insights Work closely with marketing, web, admissions, academic, and other business teams to translate business questions into clearly defined data requirements and outputs. Analyze data and translate findings into clear, practical, and actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders. Communicate complex data concepts in simple language to support effective decision-making. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems , or a related field. Experience 3–5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or in a similar data-focused role. Strong SQL skills are essential, including querying, transforming, validating, and reconciling data across multiple sources. Hands-on experience consolidating data into a centralized data hub, data warehouse, or similar structure . Good understanding of data modeling and architecture fundamentals, including schemas, relationships, and normalization . Experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, Looker , or similar BI tools. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Python or R is an advantage but not required. Experience working with data in a university, education, or education technology environment is a plus. Experience with cloud data platforms such as Big Query, Snowflake, or Azure , as well as ETL/ELT tools, is an advantage. Working proficiency in Thai and English .
