A fast-growing, AI-native marketing services company is seeking a senior commercial leader from the agency industry to drive enterprise business development and build relationships with senior marketing decision-makers. The role combines strategic sales, client acquisition, and commercial leadership to help transform traditional marketing agency models through AI-powered solutions. Client Details Our client is a fast-growing, AI-native marketing company that helps brands scale content and social media marketing across multiple markets and platforms. Combining advanced AI technology with human expertise, the business is transforming how modern marketing services are delivered. Description As a Vice President of Business Development, your main responsibilities will include: Build and manage a pipeline of enterprise and mid-market clients across consumer-focused industries. Develop and expand relationships with senior marketing stakeholders, including CMOs, Marketing Directors, and Brand Leaders. Lead consultative sales discussions and position AI-powered marketing solutions against traditional agency offerings. Structure and negotiate proposals, pilot programs, retainers, and commercial agreements. Identify opportunities to enhance or replace existing marketing workflows through AI-driven approaches. Establish strategic partnerships with agencies, media partners, and platform ecosystem stakeholders. Provide market insights and client feedback to support product development, service innovation, and go-to-market strategy. Profile A successful Vice President of Business Development should have: Degree qualified with 8+ years of experience within a leading marketing, advertising, media, or digital agency environment. Proven track record of winning, managing, and growing enterprise-level client relationships. Strong understanding of agency commercial models, including retainers, project-based engagements, pricing, and profitability. Established network of senior marketing decision-makers, including CMOs, Marketing Directors, and Brand Leaders. Commercially driven with excellent business development, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Experience across consumer-focused sectors such as FMCG, beauty, retail, e-commerce, lifestyle, or F&B is highly preferred. Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in leveraging AI and technology to transform traditional marketing services.
