About the Role As a Funeral Arranger / Conductor / Director , you will play a vital role in supporting families and ensuring funeral services are conducted with dignity and respect. Your responsibilities will include: Arranging and conducting funeral services with professionalism and empathy. Assisting with deceased transfers during business hours. Performing mortuary preparations. Managing administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations. Participating in the after-hours phone and on-call roster . Working across both locations in Bathurst and Orange What We’re Looking For While experience in the funeral industry is preferred but not essential , we are looking for candidates who demonstrate: Emotional intelligence and compassion , with a strong alignment to our values. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills , both verbal and written. Professional presentation and grooming standards. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Physical capability to perform various aspects of the role. A current, valid driver’s license. The ability to remain calm, respectful, and supportive in emotional situations. A commitment to workplace safety protocols and practices. Your professionalism and warmth will make a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve. Additionally, you will contribute to the seamless coordination of funeral services, working closely with colleagues, funeral directors, and managers.
