PROJECT QUANTITY SURVEYOR - E&M

Job description: Responsibilities Prepare and monitor project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts for E&M (Electrical and Mechanical) projects Control project costs to align with budgets and financial Prepare cost estimates, valuation of variations, interim payment applications, payment certifications, subcontractors payment claim assessments and final account settlements for E&M projects Manage tendering and procurement activities including preparation of tender documents, tender analysis and subsequent contract binding Prepare and review contract documents, variations and final accounts in compliance with contract requirements Provide commercial and contractual advice to the project team Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, Main Contractors, consultants, and the Employer to ensure smooth project delivery Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial and contractual matters Enforce adherence to the Company Policies, internal QS procedures, and contractual requirements Perform any duties as assigned by the management of Build King Group Requirements Degree in Quantity Surveying or Building Services related disciplines Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in managing E&M projects (experience in both new construction and maintenance works will be an advantage) Practical experience in NEC Contract will be an advantage MRICS or HKIS professional qualification will be an advantage Proven site experience in E&M QS works Proficiency in written and spoken English Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively
