The Company Resourceful Recruitment has partnered with a leading entity within the Oil & Gas sector committed to pioneering advancements in energy solutions. Located in the heart of Brisbane, they’re currently seeking a self-motivated and experienced Senior Sourcing Specialist to join the Contracts and Procurement team. About the Role As a Senior Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement processes, ensuring strategic alignment with business needs, and driving cost-effective, risk-mitigated sourcing outcomes. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to develop procurement solutions that enhance operational efficiency and deliver commercial value. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to deliver effective sourcing strategies. Lead the end-to-end procurement process, including market analysis, contract negotiations, and supplier management. Ensure compliance with governance, risk, and quality requirements. Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Support contract owners in managing supplier performance, escalations, and variations. Align procurement strategies with corporate social responsibility commitments, including local, regional, Indigenous, and ethical sourcing initiatives. About You To succeed in this role, you will have: 5-7 years experience in sourcing, procurement or supply chain management Degree in Commerce, Business, Engineering, Law, or a related discipline. Experience in Oil & Gas, Construction, or Mining environments Strong understanding of professional indemnities, specifications, liabilities and insurances Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle Project-based experience A proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
