Job Title: Point of Sale and Retail Solutions Software Sales Representative (SMB Focus) Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated, consultative sales professional to join our team to sell our modern, cloud-based POS software solutions to small business owners. Our target markets are, Card Shops, Floristry and Jewelry retailers. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping merchants streamline their operations, manage inventory, and increase revenue through tailored technology solutions. We offer a range of compatible Loss Prevention and Inventory management solutions such as RFID tagging to complement our products Key Responsibilities: Prospecting & Lead Generation: Actively identify, reach out to, and qualify new small business prospects via cold calling, emailing, social selling, and local networking. Consultative Selling: Conduct discovery sessions to understand a prospect's unique operational pain points (e.g., slow checkout, inventory inaccuracies) and recommend the best configuration of our POS solution. Product Demonstrations: Deliver or arrange for compelling, tailored software demos (in-person or virtually) that showcase value and solve specific business problems. Closing Deals: Negotiate contracts, handle objections regarding pricing or switching technology, and finalize agreements to meet/exceed monthly sales targets. Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Meticulously track all activities, leads, and client interactions Onboarding & Support: Work with our Management team to coordinate initial setup to ensure a smooth transition and high customer satisfaction. Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new POS technology features. Required Skills and Qualifications: Experience: previous experience in B2B sales, SaaS sales, or retail technology sales. Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical features in simple, user-friendly language. The ability to convey benefits to customers and to build a trustful relationship Technical Savvy: Proficiency with Point of Sale systems or a Good knowledge of Retail Business Processes, video conferencing tools (Zoom/Teams), and a quick ability to learn new software. Sales Acumen: Proven ability to manage a sales pipeline, from prospecting to closing, with a focus on consultative selling. Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills to build trust with local small business owners and stakeholders. The ability to understand the customer needs and convey this to the Development and support team Resilience: Self-motivated and capable of thriving in a target-driven, fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the retail industry. Background in payment processing or merchant services is helpful Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Number of new qualified leads/demos generated. Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) added. Total number of new merchant accounts acquired. Compensation: Competitive salary with uncapped commission and performance bonuses.
