Job Summary We are looking for a System Engineer to manage and resolve system incidents across cloud platforms, including AWS and Microsoft Azure. This role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, incident management, and infrastructure support. Key Responsibilities 1. Incident Management & Technical Support - Monitor and respond to system alerts, incidents, and service disruptions - Perform initial analysis, troubleshooting, and system recovery - Ensure minimal downtime and service continuity 2. Monitoring & Investigation - Monitor system health using cloud-native tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor) - Analyze logs, metrics, and events to identify root causes (RCA) - Utilize knowledge base and standard operating procedures 3. Incident Ownership & Coordination - Take full ownership of incidents from detection to closure - Track and manage incidents in accordance with SLA - Provide timely updates to stakeholders 4. Issue Escalation - Escalate complex issues to DevOps, Infrastructure, or Vendor teams - Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve issues efficiently 5. Infrastructure Support (Terraform) - Support and maintain infrastructure using Terraform (IaC) - Assist in provisioning and updating cloud resources 6. Reporting & Documentation - Prepare incident reports and root cause analysis - Maintain and update knowledge base Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Experience as a System Engineer or in a related role Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS) Good command of English (reading, writing, and speaking) Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment
