QA/QC Technician | Precast Concrete

Allied Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced QA/QC Technician to join a leading precast concrete manufacturer located in Perth's eastern suburbs. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business supplying high-quality precast concrete products to major infrastructure and commercial projects throughout Western Australia. Working closely with production, you'll play a key role in ensuring products meet Australian Standards, company procedures, and client specifications. About the Role Working within a busy precast manufacturing environment, you'll be responsible for quality inspections throughout the production process, from pre-pour through to final inspection and product release. Key Responsibilities Conduct pre-pour and post-pour quality inspections on precast concrete products. Inspect moulds prior to production and completed products after stripping. Measure finished concrete elements against drawings and specifications. Sample and test concrete products in accordance with AS1012. Monitor concrete strength results and maintain quality testing records. Identify, report, and assist in resolving non-conformances. Complete quality documentation, inspection reports, and production records. Carry out pre-delivery inspections prior to product dispatch. Ensure measuring and testing equipment is maintained and calibrated in accordance with company procedures. Work closely with production personnel to maintain quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous experience in a QA, QC, or Quality Technician role. Experience within hollowcore, precast concrete, concrete testing, or a similar manufacturing environment. Knowledge of quality control procedures, inspections, and compliance documentation. Ability to accurately measure finished products against drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and written communication. Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport. Construction White Card. A proactive approach to workplace safety and continuous improvement. Highly Regarded Certificate III in Laboratory Skills (or equivalent). Experience sampling and testing concrete cylinders in accordance with Australian Standards (AS1012). Exposure to hollowcore or prestressed concrete manufacturing. What's on Offer Stable Monday to Friday hours - 6:00am to 2:30pm. Overtime available (Based on production schedule).
