Account Executive

About the role We are seeking an Account Executive to join Sushi Zento Group of Restaurants, a dynamic organization based in Penang Island, Penang. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our Financial Accounting & Reporting operations. As an Account Executive, you will be instrumental in managing company accounts, ensuring accurate financial records is taken in. What you'll be doing Preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards Processing financial transactions and maintaining detailed accounting records Reconciling accounts and identifying discrepancies or areas requiring clarification Assisting in the preparation of month-end and year-end closing procedures Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with relevant accounting principles and regulatory requirements Liaise with external auditors, company secretary, tax agents, and relevant authorities. Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance client satisfaction Collaborating with team members to meet deadlines and maintain service excellence What we're looking for Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Proven experience in accounting operations or financial reporting, ideally 1-3 years in a similar role Strong proficiency in accounting software such as SQL Accounting and Microsoft Office applications Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment About us In 2001, through our unwavering commitment to precision and excellence in culinary art and management—deeply inspired by the spirit and traditions of the Edo Period—we successfully revived ancient Japanese culinary mastery and seasoning techniques for the modern era.
