About the Role We are looking for a Junior .NET Developer to join our engineering team and support the development of reliable, high-performance applications for trading and financial technology systems. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer who is eager to build strong technical foundations in .NET development while working on mission-critical systems. You will work closely with senior engineers, product managers, QA, and domain experts to deliver scalable, maintainable, and user-focused solutions across desktop and backend applications. What you’ll do Assist in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications using C# and .NET . Support the development of desktop and/or backend components for financial technology systems. Work with senior team members to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Develop and integrate APIs, real-time workflows, and supporting application services. Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following established engineering standards. Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning activities. Contribute to unit testing, automation efforts, and release processes. Take part in code reviews, team discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software on schedule. Continuously learn and improve through mentorship and hands-on project work. What you’ll bring Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. 1–5 years of professional software development experience , or strong internship/project experience in .NET development. Foundation in C# / .NET and object-oriented programming. Basic understanding of software engineering principles, including: OOP Data structures and algorithms Debugging and testing Version control using Git Willingness to learn and grow in desktop and/or backend application development. Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset. Good communication skills and eagerness to work in a team-oriented environment. Preferred Technical Experience Familiarity with C# / .NET application development. Exposure to WPF , XAML , MVVM , or desktop UI development. Basic knowledge of RESTful APIs and application integration. Understanding of async/await , multithreading, or concurrency concepts is a plus. Familiarity with UI testing , unit testing, or automation tools is an advantage. Experience with DevExpress controls/components is a plus. Nice to Have Internship, academic, or personal project experience related to financial systems or real-time applications. Exposure to WebSockets , Docker, or AWS is an advantage. Interest in capital markets, trading platforms, or financial technology.
