Work on cutting-edge AI, Copilot and Azure Foundry initiatives 12 month contract with a 12 month extension Hybrid working arrangements in Canberra We are seeking experienced AI Developers to support the delivery of innovative AI-powered solutions within a dynamic Federal Government environment. These roles will focus on designing, configuring and deploying AI agents, automation solutions and enterprise AI capabilities using Microsoft Azure AI technologies. The successful AI Developers will be offered an initial 12-month contract with 1 x 12-month extension option , based in Canberra with flexible hybrid working arrangements. The successful Senior AI Developers will be responsible for, but not limited to: Configure, deploy and optimise AI agents and automation solutions using Microsoft Azure AI Foundry. Integrate AI solutions with enterprise platforms including SharePoint, Outlook, Teams and other business systems. Develop and maintain AI-powered applications, prompts, workflows and templates to improve business outcomes. Ensure AI solutions comply with security, privacy and responsible AI standards while supporting architecture and transition-to-service activities. Support user adoption through training, stakeholder engagement, performance evaluation and continuous improvement initiatives. The successful Senior AI Developers will have experience in the following: Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Azure AI Services, Azure AI Foundry and AI agent configuration. Strong understanding of generative AI technologies, prompt engineering and enterprise AI solution development. Experience integrating AI solutions with cloud and enterprise systems in secure, scalable environments. Knowledge of AI governance, ethical AI practices, security requirements and responsible AI principles. Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, communication and user training skills. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-profile digital transformation program focused on advancing AI capabilities, improving productivity and delivering innovative business outcomes.
