Graduate Land Surveyor

Graduate Land Surveyor Project Surveyors is a medium sized land surveying, BIM and planning consultancy offering services to the land development industry across Sydney and wider NSW. Our office is located at Bella Vista within a short stroll to the metro station in a modern office. The role is a full time role, and we work from around 7:30 am to 5pm. The role is for a 37.5 hour week between these times over 5 days. Ideally you will be on your way towards registration as a land surveyor as a current candidate. The role comes with a vehicle for company work purposes. The job involves Work as part of a team both in the office and on site detail surveying using traditional methods and laser scanning to generate survey plans - we can teach you laser scanning and data processing if you have no experience in that. Understanding of the NSW Cadastral system and ability to undertake boundary surveys calculate data and prepare plans and reports prepare subdivision plans and strata plans assist with managing land development tasks assist with training of more junior staff undertake entire project use of Autocad for plan preparation, Cyclone, and Magnet Vehicle provided Some flexibility exists around start and finish times a solution focused thinking communications with clients, consultants, management and team members Our work includes; some greenfield subdivisions infill subdivision strata limited construction work detailed surveys and measured building surveys Our clients include; Government ( state and local) Businesses Architects Planners Project Managers Religious bodies Consumers Ideally you will be a BOSSI candidate for registration and be considering undertaking exams or may have already. We are able to provide supervision and mentoring required for registration in NSW. Ideally you will have at least 12 months experience as a Land Surveyor. We work Monday to Friday on a 37.5 hour week. There is limited work on weekends. The role suits those who wish to regain a work / life balance, having lunch break and going home to see family at the end of the day. The role is only open to people with good English communication skills, the ability to become a Registered Surveyor in NSW and those with rights to work in Australia full time. There is no sponsorship opportunity with this role.
