Deputy General Manager - Accounting

Job Description: Handle full sets of accounts, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance. Prepare and review management accounts, budgets, forecasts and variance analysis to support business decisions. Coordinate with external auditors, manage interim and annual audits, ensure timely completion of audit reports and tax issues. Handle group accounts consolidation across multiple business units in Hong Kong and China. Prepare and monitor profit and loss statements, analyze variances and provide recommendations for corrective actions. Conduct in‑depth analysis of financial data, identify trends and present actionable insights to senior management. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, accounting standards and strengthen internal control systems. Provide hands‑on guidance and mentoring to accounting staff, fostering efficiency and professional growth. Work closely with business units to provide financial support and ensure alignment with corporate objectives. Assist with ad hoc tasks as assigned by Management. Requirements: Degree holder or above in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline, with a professional accounting qualification e.g. HKICA/ACCA. Minimum 8 years of solid experience in accounting and finance, with exposure to FMCG or related industries. Audit experience will be an advantage. Well-organized, result-oriented, with a strong sense of responsibility. Good communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Exposure to financial analytical work, report preparation, budgeting and forecasting. Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
