Based in the CBD fringe this team of professionals provides financial advisory, business advisory and tax consulting services to a dynamic client base - from ambitious startups to complex established enterprises. The Role We are seeking a Senior or AM or Manager BAS Accountant who is ready to play a pivotal role in delivering high quality financial reporting and advisory outcomes. In this role you will take ownership of interesting client work, lead complex technical work and provide clear guidance to both clients and internal teams. You will be trusted to prepare and/or review financial statements (depending on your level), manage tax compliance alongside reporting requirements, supervise and mentor junior staff (if you are a manager) and contribute to internal projects that enhance firm wide capability. You will be a client manager and confident in that role. This is what you need Experience - minimum of 4 years in a NZ professional and reputable accounting practice with demonstrated exposure to preparation of annual financial statements for a very broad range of SMEs including high turnover companies Qualifications - CA or CPA qualified Attributes - Confidence interpreting accounting standards, proven experience managing client relationships, and a proactive, self-starting mindset. You will also need the ability to work in New Zealand on a full time basis Fluent in Mandarin Why this company?
