About the Role The Senior Field Service Technician will be the local region expert in Timaru, with your day spent in a hands-on mechanical role, undertaking servicing, diagnosing, and repairing on forklifts and materials handling gear. This role also offers an opportunity to provide support and guidance to other technicians. You’ll be a go-to for complex faults and help uphold high standards of service in the field. What You’ll Be Doing: Performing scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic and low-voltage electrical faults Attending breakdowns and providing urgent on-site support Using our laptop to manage jobs and order parts Support to fellow technicians with technical and customer knowledge Participating in a rotating on-call breakdown roster What You’ll Bring: Mechanical Trade Qualification (Diesel, Electrical or Mechanical) Strong diagnostic, fault-finding, and servicing experience Exposure to forklifts, heavy vehicles, or similar machinery Current NZ driver’s licence and forklift licence (or willing to obtain) Confident working independently and happy to offer peer support when needed Applications : If you’re eager to make the move, APPLY NOW by clicking the link and join the growing team.
