Senior Accountant (50-70K) Business Sport Equipment Distribution Location Rama 9 Contact Morakot – 092 272 3288 – Morakot.K {at} mriww . co . th About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, supporting business operations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements. This role requires an experienced accounting professional who is analytical, proactive, and capable of working independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Manage the full set of accounts and ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. Perform balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and general ledger reviews. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements. Prepare and submit VAT, withholding tax, corporate tax, and other statutory filings. Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities during audits and compliance reviews. Monitor cash flow and support treasury-related activities. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Analyze financial performance, identify variances, and provide recommendations to management. Review accounting transactions and ensure proper documentation and internal controls are maintained. Support inventory accounting, fixed asset management, and cost analysis where applicable. Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes, reporting efficiency, and internal controls. Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff. Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a Senior Accountant or equivalent role . Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and statutory compliance. Experience handling full sets of accounts and month-end closing. Experience with SAP Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. CPD or other professional accounting qualification is an advantage. Experience in engineering, manufacturing, construction, or industrial businesses will be highly regarded. Skills & Competencies Good Command in English Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. High level of integrity and professionalism. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work. Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
